We are a pride of Lion-like rare breed dogs and puppies known as Leonbergers. Our people, Rachel & Tim have been owned by us for close to 9 years. We cannot tell you how proud we are of them. They have come a long way from being humans although they do have some strange ideas on how to behave. Kids, what can you do?

 

My name is Chewy - aka- Lionhill's Wind Dancer.  Gen picked me specially for Rachel.  Rachel was very, very sad after her other pack members died. She wasn't even sure she WANTED to be owned by another canine! Well let me tell you, I was not standing for any such nonsense! I came all the way from Canada just for her.  The people were going to let me out of my crate when Rachel came in.  I was so excited to see her!  She knelt hesitantly and opened the door. WHAM! I was out like a shot! I jumped right into her arms and started kissing her all over. I could see that there were lots of hurt places for me to fill up with my special kind of love and so many scrapes on her heart that my kisses would heal there was no time to delay. 

 

Rachel, Tim and I have been together eight and a half years. I wouldn't trade them for all the treats in the universe. Rachel and Tim were so happy with me, they decided they would bring Tessa home to us. The four of us became Heart N’ Soul Leonbergers. We have added other Leos to our pack over the years and couldn’t be happier.
